Head of the DOG (HOTDOG)

Portland, Oregon, Saturday October 3 (5000 meters)

Men’s 50+ double scull finished 3rd of 4.

Women’s Open double scull finished 2nd of 4.

Women’s 50+ double scull finished 2nd of 2.

Women’s pair-without-coxswain 1st (and only).

Men’s 60+ single scull entrant finished 2nd of 3.

 

Row For The Cure

Portland, Sunday October 4 (5000 meters)

Women’s Masters 8+ finished 6th of 9.

Men’s Masters quadruple scull finished 1st of 3.

Women’s Masters quadruple scull came in 1st of 2.

Men’s Masters sculler finished 4th of 5

Men’s Recreational sculler rowed most of the course.

 

Head of the Bull Trout

Lake Stevens, Washington Saturday October 17 (6000 meters)

Women’s Masters Novice single scull finished 1st (and only)

Men’s Masters Novice single scullers finished 1st and 2nd.

 

Head of the Charles

Boston Massachusetts Saturday October 17.(5000 meters)

Women’s  50+ double scull finished 11th of 21.

Men’s Masters Recreational single scull finished 3rd of 4.

 

Head of the American

Lake Natoma, Sacramento, California Saturday October 24 (5000 meters)

Men's Masters quadruple scull had the fastest raw time of 8 entries. After handicapping for age, OAR was 2nd.

Women’s Masters Four+ placed 4th in a field of 9.

Mixed Masters 8+ placed 3rd of 8 (and 2nd in raw time).


Portland LO/OP

Saturday Nov. 1. (7000 meters)

Men’s Masters single sculler finished 2nd of 2.

Women's Masters 8+ finished 2nd of 3.

 

Seattle Frostbite

Saturday Nov. 7  (1000 meters, shortened to 500 by weather)

Men’s Masters quadruple scull finished 3rd out of 3.

 

Head of the Lake

Seattle, Sunday Nov. 8 (5000 meters)

Men’s Masters sculler finished 4th of 5.

Women’s Masters 8+ finished 2nd of 6.

Men’s Masters quadruple scull finished 3rd of 4.

Women’s quadruple scull finished 1st of 4.

 

OAR Rowers also joined friends in rowing with other clubs or composite boats at Head of the DOG (Portland)  Head of the Gorge (Victoria, BC), Elk Lake (near Victoria), Head of the American (Sacramento), and Head of the Lake, Seattle.
